Neshama 3 19:25

about

"All the spring of landscapes and rivers rises like incense in my heart, and the breath of all things sings in my thoughts like a flute. In" Rabindranath Tagore's Lyrical Offering

In Hebrew, "Neshama" means the breath but also the soul...

breath of the earth.... Breath of life... Breath of the voice...

Why did we name Neshama in Hebrew?

Fuji Yuki and Valery Poulet come from different cultures 'the Far East and the West'.
The Middle East is at the point connecting the two,and It's also a symbolic place that connects us.

Culture of breath occupies in primordial place of Far eastern culture.

Fuji Yuki's song has its roots and it nourished by (nature) old traditions from ancient time, and it still very present in Japan.
Incantation, shamanism, trance, irrigate our music and come to nourish a music, resulting mainly from an evolution of the Western music called "learned", Electroacoustic(academic music).

"Neshama" is also the culmination of a work begun, thanks to a meeting initiated by Bubo de Ratordog (jr.") whom we thank.

Valéry Poulet
Having started music with Rock, more precisely with the punk movement as a bass player, Valéry Poulet was quickly influenced by Indus music (Throbbing Gristle, Test Dept...) by other musical styles such as Jazz (PostBop, Free) "ethnic" music but also obviously by Electroacoustic and academic music. His sound universes obviously take into account all these influences but also other worlds, literature, plastic arts. He is graduated from a DNOP (National Diploma in Professional Orientation) in Electracoustics at the conservatory. On the other hand, he has collaborated on several occasions in the creation of sound installations and performances with visual artists.
